Got a date night coming up but don’t want to break your healthy eating streak? Singapore’s newest restaurant may be just the ticket. The all-new Cook & Tras Social Library at Six Senses Maxwell in Singapore offers plenty of healthy, meat-filled dishes.
A Social Man Cave
Hidden on the ground floor of Six Senses Maxwell, Cook & Tras is a sophisticated, intimate space that has an air of a private gentlemen’s club. The look was created by famed designer Jacques Garcia and showcases his refined aesthetics with a classic décor scheme of woods, bookshelves, spaced-out tables, custom furnishings and mirrored ceilings.
Food aside, don’t make the mistake of thinking that Cook & Tras Social Library is just another restaurant.
Healthy, Indulgent Eats

Tucked into one of Six Senses’ first two urban properties, the new restaurant aims to bring the brand’s Eat with Six Senses food programme to a chic city location.
Incorporating carefully selected ingredients, each dish here is brimming with nutrients and vitamins, creating a menu of hearty, nourishing meals. To start, you’ll want to try the refreshing Vine Tomatoes & Mixed Melon plate that features citrus granite, creamy burrata and lemon balm vinaigrette.
While your femme du jour may appreciate the equally light and fresh rainbow beetroot salad, gents with rather more carnivorous appetites will be happy to know that among the restaurant’s signature is the Steak Chimichurri.

Available in tenderloin, rib-eye or sirloin cuts, the succulent meat is topped with a roast garlic puree (you may want to have a breath freshener in your pocket) confit cherry tomatoes, house-made chimichurri sauce and crunchy asparagus. Though we wouldn’t say no to the Maxwell Sirloin Burger, either.
