As we’re sure you already know, Chaat is Hindi for “to lick”, and while this provocative name has little to do with the actual dishes available, it hints at a contemporary take on timeless Indian cuisine of chef de cuisine Manav Tili, who has re-imagined his favourite street food dishes from his childhood in central India. Chef Tili has three tandoor ovens firing up dishes from across India, which are served in an elegant dining room with a custom wall mural by Hyderabadi artist Kandi Narsumlu.
Highlights from the CHAAT menu include hearty homemade palak paneer with spinach and garlic; black pepper chicken tikka; lamb seekh kebab with mint chutney; and pav bhaji, a thick curry served with soft milk bread rolls.
