TAG Heuer creates the inspired Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Polychrome, an arresting design limited to only 150 pieces.
With its eye-catching multi-coloured dial design, there’s little doubt that the new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Polychrome is a statement, high-performance piece.
Contrasting against its deep black exterior, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Polychrome introduces a resolutely novel rainbow-coloured skeletonized dial.

With its classic tricompax layout, the new dial highlights a black flange with 60 second/minute scale, rhodium-plated blue chronograph sub-counters at 3 and 9 o’clock with black-gold-plated polished hands, and a multicoloured tourbillon at 6 o’clock. The applied indexes and hands are rhodium-plated, with Super-LumiNova on the hour and minute hands.

To achieve the smooth and sophisticated vibrant colour gradient covering the dial, Tag worked closely with an expert partner specialised in vacuum deposition PVD treatments, and the only supplier in the world to offer this breakthrough finish, Positive Coating. To create the mesmerising effect, metallic oxides are deposited in infinitely thin transparent layers and their controlled and minute variations of thickness (a few nanometers) create the final gradual colour spectrum. This state-of-the-art patented technology requires expert finesse and mastery and allows the brand to make reach new heights of creativity and craftsmanship.

Based on the celebrated TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Nanograph, the 45-mm watch uses its signature case, bezel and strap design. The all-black case is made of ultra-lightweight and resistant fine brushed black PVD grade 5 titanium with a fixed carbon tachymeter bezel. It features a domed, beveled sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, a black PVD grade 5 titanium crown and push buttons, as well as a black PVD grade 5 titanium screwed sapphire case back with special engraving marking the limited release and unit number.

Such an exceptional design deserved an exceptional movement: the Calibre Heuer 02T COSC chronograph tourbillon, developed entirely in-house to meet the highest standards of precision and performance, and which offers a power reserve of 65 hours.
