Caprice Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong launches A Journey Through Time, a new winter cocktail menu.
Finally, the chill has hit Hong Kong, which is great because it means we can switch gears when it comes to the cocktails we order. There’s a host of great winter cocktails, all designed to warm you up in all the right ways, but if you’re looking for a little additional inspiration, help is close at hand.
The Caprice Bar at The Four Seasons has created A Journey Through Time, its new wintertime cocktail lineup. The new cocktail menu – split into The Past and The Present – features 10 unique cocktails that celebrate French savoir-faire, combining the past and the present with aged and new spirits that take one through a voyage of time.
Each libation has been carefully crafted by Caprice Bar Assistant Manager Anyss Saintilan and combines aged spirits selected for their impact on historical French culture, recent spirits from smaller, independent French producers, and winter comfort ingredients.
Highlights from the menu include Café-Calvados, made with Calvados from the 1990s, vanilla-infused vodka, and coffee and served as an espresso martini accompanied with a homemade brownie; La Ligne Rouge, a twist on a New York Sour with Greek Mastiha liqueur, vanilla-infused Chateaueuf Di Pape, and shaken egg white; and the Truffle Negroni, made with gin infused with truffles for five months.
