Bulgari continues its stylish timepiece collection with the addition of the Bulgari Aluminium GMT.
Lovers of eye-catching fashion watches will remember when Bulgari first introduced their aluminium timepiece back in 1998. At the time the Bulgari Aluminium was a bold move; urbane, masculine and original, it was the first luxury watch – one that was flaunted at the time on the livery of an Alitalia Boeing 747 jumbo jet regularly criss-crossing the continents – to be crafted from the alloy and came topped with a rubber bezel that screamed: “I’m not just for the boardroom”. The new Bulgari Aluminium GMT continues that journey.
The new release has retained the essential attributes – a lightweight yet durable aluminium case, a blue bezel and a rubber strap. It has however been given an additional, contemporary function that’s perfectly timed for travel-hungry watch lovers.
Easy to use and perfectly readable, the Bulgari Aluminium GMT allows the wearer to read both home time and local time, the former conventionally indicated via hours and minutes hands pointing to the markings on the inner dial zone, and the latter displayed by a red-tipped hand positioned on the 24-hour outer scale of the dial.

That scale is divided into two different coloured zones of 12 hours each, serving to adjust and distinguish between day and night according to the time zone where the wearer finds himself. All settings are simple to perform using the crown, making the new timepiece ideal for modern lads on the move.
The Bulgari Aluminium GMT is powered by a B192 calibre movement with automatic winding and a 56-hour power reserve. The 40mm aluminium case features a titanium caseback and crown and is water-resistant to 100 metres, while the blue dial features hour-markers and hands in SLN (Super-LumiNova), and a blue and red inner dial. The new timepiece comes with a blue rubber strap with links and pin buckle in aluminium.
