Specialist tour operator Wix Squared will host the second Wix Squared World Challenge – a bespoke itinerary full of exciting and enriching challenges, that educate, entertain, and enable friends, families and groups travelling together – this time in remote Bhutan.
Designed for travellers to discover more about the country they’re visiting through fun activities that come with rewards for the victors, this unique nine-night take on the Himalayan kingdom includes a football match with Bhutanese monks, photography challenges, an archery tournament against local guides, and traditional Bhutanese celebration dance competitions, through to hiking and cooking contests, and mastering some local Dzongkha phrases.

You’ll journey to the kingdom’s pint-sized capital Thimpu, as well as the remote valleys of Gangtey, Punakha and Paro, staying at luxury lodges and camps along the way, with challenges ranging from creating a postage stamp at the Bhutan Post Office; and a memo-making competition (the winner of which receives a luxurious Bhutanese hot stone bath); through to speed dressing in the national costume; and capturing the best image of the Taktsang Goenpa (aka the Tiger’s Nest Monastery) during a rather vertiginous hike. All challenges come with a prize for the winning team.
This unique itinerary includes luxury accommodation at Six Senses Thimpu, Como Uma Paro and Gangtey Lodge; entry fees, all experiences, meals, and private guides and drivers for the duration of the challenge.
