In its latest limited-edition release Bang & Olufsen collaborates with fitness brand Rapha to create the Beoplay E8 Sport earbuds.
It’s almost the end of one year and the beginning of another (thank the gods!) and with the new year comes New Year’s resolutions. You know, those well-intentioned, champagne-soaked promises you make to yourself or to those closest to you? The ones you often try to forget in the harsh light of January 1st. In case you decide to go through with said resolutions, and they have anything to do with fitness or a healthier lifestyle, you’re going to need the right earbuds with which to pipe in motivational tracks, and that’s where Bang & Olufsen’s newest release comes in.
The audio brand known for its speakers and headphones has collaborated with performance cycling clothing brand Rapha to create the limited-edition Beoplay E8 Sport, a unique rendition of the brand’s acclaimed E8 earbuds made for intense (if not reluctant) body movement.
Part of Rapha’s indoor capsule collection, ensuring lads looking to hit the gym will have the right audio inducements, the Beoplay E8 Sports (which follow on the tails of cool E8 limited colour runs and collaborations) combine great aesthetics and performance, including an IP57-certified waterproof construction in rubber, aluminium, and textured silicone, and a slim, pocketable case adorned with both the Bang & Olufsen and Rapha logos. The capsule collection also includes a range of Rapha clothing items designed for intense training sessions.
Like regular E8s, the Beoplay E8 Sport earbuds boast seven hours’ of playtime, ensuring the batteries always outlast your training session (we would hope) with three additional charges delivered by the carry case, while Bluetooth 5.1 ensures a crystal clear connection to devices on the go.
You know, like on a treadmill?
